Black anodized aluminum tubes offer the perfect combination of lightweight structural strength, superior corrosion resistance, and a premium matte or glossy aesthetic. The anodizing process chemically transforms the aluminum surface into a durable, scratch-resistant oxide layer. For standard indoor mounting brackets, a coating thickness of 8–12 μm (microns) is sufficient. For harsh outdoor environments, automotive chassis, or marine mounting brackets, we offer heavy-duty anodizing up to 15–25 μm to ensure maximum UV protection and wear resistance.

Standard black dyes can fade over time when exposed to intense sunlight. However, for outdoor bracket applications, we use UV-stabilized organic dyes or inorganic metal salts (two-step electrolytic coloring). This specialized process ensures that your black anodized brackets maintain their deep, rich black finish even after years of direct exposure to sunlight and harsh weather.
Yes. We offer full precision CNC machining services before the anodizing process. We highly recommend drilling, slotting, and cutting-to-length prior to anodizing so that all exposed edges and internal hole walls are completely coated and protected against corrosion.

Welding anodized aluminum directly is not recommended because the aluminum oxide layer has a much higher melting point than the underlying aluminum, which can ruin the weld quality. Additionally, welding will burn off the black finish around the joint. If welding is required for your bracket assembly, you should weld the raw aluminum first and then send the entire fabricated bracket for black anodizing.
