1. Design & Drawing Confirmation
It all starts with your blueprint. Our engineering team works closely with you to understand every requirement for the profile's cross-section, tolerances, and function. Using advanced CAD software, we transform your ideas into precise 2D drawings and 3D models, ensuring every detail—from wall thickness to groove location—is meticulously verified, setting the perfect foundation for manufacturing.
2.Design & Manufacturing
The die is the soul of extrusion. Based on the confirmed drawings, our die experts design and manufacture high-precision dies. Made from premium die steel, they undergo precise CNC machining, heat treatment, and fine polishing to ensure long service life and excellent extrusion performance. This critical step, where we pour our extensive experience and expertise, is key to achieving complex cross-sectional shapes.
3. Billet Heating
Quality starts with the material. Selected aluminum alloy billets are fed into a heating furnace and uniformly heated to a specific, controlled temperature (typically 400-500°C). This precise pre-heating process reduces the aluminum's deformation resistance, bringing it to an ideal plastic state for smooth extrusion, while preventing internal stresses.
4. Extrusion
This is the moment of transformation. The heated billet is pushed with immense force by the extrusion press through the precision-made die opening. Like toothpaste from a tube, the aluminum instantly takes on the die's complete cross-sectional shape, forming a continuous profile. We ensure dimensional stability and a dense structure by precisely controlling pressure and speed.
5.Cooling & Stretching
Newly extruded profiles are soft and irregular. They are first uniformly cooled to room temperature (via air or water quenching) to initialise their mechanical properties. Subsequently, they undergo stretching, where a precise tensile force is applied to permanently eliminate internal stress and correct any curvature or twist, ensuring strict straightness and flatness.
6. Cut-to-Length
The continuous, straightened profiles are then cut to your specified uniform length by a high-precision flying saw or cutting system. Our equipment ensures clean, square cuts and tightly controlled length tolerances, providing great convenience for your subsequent assembly and machining processes.
7. Surface Treatment
We equip the profiles with a "protective coat" and an attractive finish. Options include:
Anodizing: Creates a hard, corrosion-resistant, insulating layer that can be dyed in various colors.
Electrophoresis: Provides a smooth, uniform, and dirt-resistant matte or glossy surface with excellent weatherability.
Powder Coating: Offers a wide color range with a tough, resilient coating that resists chemicals and scratching.
8.Final Inspection & Packaging
Quality is our final checkpoint. Every profile is rigorously inspected for dimensions, color, and surface defects. Approved products are carefully packaged with clean, protective materials like kraft paper, stretch film, or custom wooden crates, guaranteeing they reach you in perfect condition.
